Dog'gone Good Fun Day in the Park Tomorrow at Rusch Park in Citrus Heights

Dog'gone Good Fun Day in the Park Tomorrow at Rusch Park in Citrus Heights

Every year Sierra Pacific Great Pyrenees Club (rescue) puts on an annual event called "Dog'gone Good Fun Day at the Park". It's open to the public and we invite all spayed/neutered, mixed bred dogs and purebreds to come and play in the park and have a "dog'gone good fun day in the park".  The event is Sunday, March 29th at Rusch Park in Citrus Heights.

Obedience, rally and canine good citizenship tests are in the morning with raffles and doggie diva costume contests at lunch around noon.  There are food concessions and raffles...you can even buy your doggies a new collar or costume, if you didn't bring one with you.  Ladies have been busy baking and will offer "feel good food" for sale.

The premier equine medical center in Placer County and surrounding communities is preparing to host the region’s largest vaccine clinic for horses on Saturday, March 21, 2015. With the help of horse owners throughout the region that visit one of the six locations in Roseville, Placerville, Auburn, Lincoln, Penryn and Lockeford, the Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center (LBEMC) will be able to donate many vaccines to rescue horses in need.
