A pair of alleged package thieves were arrested in Roseville Wednesday, with the assistance of sure-sighted eyewitness, Roseville police report.

The “pair of purported porch pirates” were seen on January 6 stealing a package off of a neighbor’s front porch on Wheat Court, police said.

According to police, the eyewitness was not the only neighbor to call on the suspects, either.

Following the descriptions reported by the eyewitnesses, an officer in the area stopped a vehicle that matched the description on Fiddyment Road and Pleasant Grove Boulevard.

Officers conducted a probation search and found stolen packages, which were returned to the victim, and other suspected stolen property inside the SUV, police said.

Police report Danielle Barba, 28, of Citrus Heights, and Michael Allard Parfitt, 31, of Sacramento, were arrested on suspicion of petty theft and possessing stolen property. Parfitt was also charged with possessing methamphetamine.
