Suspect remains at large in Roseville stabbing, robbery
News

Roseville Police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding one of six suspects connected with a January robbery and a stabbing.

Five suspects connected with the separate crimes have already been arrested, but Alex Conwell, 21, remains at large, police said.

Police believe Conwell, along with at least three other suspects, broke into a home in the Highland Reserve neighborhood through a window in the home on January 8 and robbed the home while holding the people inside at gunpoint.

During the investigation police found evidence linking Conwell to a January 9 robbery, during which a man went to a Galleria Boulevard parking lot, got in a car with several men, attempting to sell them marijuana, according to police.

During the deal, one of the buyers pointed a shotgun at the seller. Police report a struggle ensued, resulting in the seller being stabbed multiple times.

Police believe Conwell was present during both the home invasion robbery and the stabbing.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Since the Jan. 8 home invasion, police have arrested Davonte Lee Cyrus, 23, of Rocklin, Austin Timothy Stephens, 20, of Rocklin and Jacob Matthew Kirchmeyer, 27, of Roseville in connection with the robbery.

Justin Havey, 21, of Rocklin and a 15-year-old male from Rocklin were arrested in connection with the stabbing.

Conwell and the 15-year-old are suspected of participating in both the stabbing and the home invasion robbery.

Conwell, a black male, is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds, with no known local address. He's lived in Indiana and in Pittsburg, CA, but has been active in our area recently.
