McLemore inspires on and off the court with summer camps

One of the bright spots for the Sacramento Kings last season was the development of Ben McLemore. On the court, his scoring, defense and 3-point shooting all greatly improved.

But, it was off the court, where he showed his greatest progress.

A finalist for the NBA Cares Community Assist Award, McLemore was hosting his second annual Youth Summer Basketball Camp at Hardwood Palace in Rocklin earlier this week .

McLemore stays busy in the offseason by running his nonprofit "All 4 Kids." Based in his home state of Missouri, its mission is to feed hungry kids and give gifts to those who can't afford them.

"It's big to give back to the community, especially of where you come from and where you are now," McLemore said.
